Yesterday Toombul’ s under 19s team had a convincing win against Wynnum.
Toombul won the toss and elected to bat first, Nick McGill 68 got the team off to a good start, Walker’s good form continued making 77 off 78 balls with the team finishing with 252.
Most of Wynnum’s top order batmens got starts but kept losing wickets at crucial times and weren’t really in the run chase after being bowled out for 150. Toombul’s pick of the bowlers were Ryan Case 3-32 off 9 overs & Ryan Walker 3-40 off 9.
They play their last game of the home & away season on the 7th of Feb against Redlands.
